Frankly, I didn’t recognize more than two or three of the references, including “Let It Be”. But what I found amusing is that these fellahs aren’t all that different from Peter Schickele, who in addition to producing many “original” P.D.Q. Bach pieces, also delights in melding famous classickal pieces together in works such as his “Unbegun” Symphony and his “Eine Kleine NichtMusik“. The concept that certain chord combinations are more popular than others did not suddenly spring into existence in 1970.

Heck, it’s not even original among modern comic musician. Go to the samre website (the one your filters won’t let me use here) and look up Pachelbel Rant.
