I am the rapidly-approaching-middle-aged husband of a wife of whom I’m not worthy. I am the father of three daughters who, in one of His wryer moments, God gave me in answer to the wish of my younger days to be surrounded by beautiful women. I am a recent Catholic convert and a social traditionalist. I am interested in just about everything and an expert in just about nothing.  I generally treat the “real” world with what my mother describes as cheerful contempt.
